I understand that this is probably a small business and perhaps I should be a bit forgiving, but I purchased expedited 48hr shipping for a heritage grill on December 18 with an expected delivery of December 20-22. The grill did not arrive until December 30. I reached out several times for order updates and the only communication I received was that they were still backed up from ‘Black Friday.’ If that was the case, they should not have been accepting orders. They should have the self-awareness as a business that they do not have capacity to make deliveries on time.
I reached out several times for status updates and heard nothing and then tried to cancel the order multiple times and still heard nothing. Finally the package arrived and it’s fine, except the letters aren’t attached. I reviewed the fine print and it does say that letters are not attached, but the images are misleading. That’s not a big deal, but I’m frustrated for receiving a delivery nearly two weeks late, paying for expedited shipping, and then receiving little to no customer support.
The product is fine, hopefully it installs well, but I’ll never buy anything from overland depot again. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, you can’t fool me twice.
